Congressman Ryan Zinke Announces a $217,500 HHS Grant to Montana State University

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) Today, Congressman Ryan Zinke announced Montana State University will receive a federal grant from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. The purpose of the grant is to support the university’s work identifying heterogenous neuronal responses to HSV-1 infection with drop-based microfluidics.  

Congressman Zinke said, “Montana State University is a leading research institution, is one of the best overall universities in the nation, and will continue to sit at the top of the ranks thanks to grants like this. I look forward to continuing working with MSU, UM, Tech, Northern and Montana’s other higher education institutions to continue building our research and development capabilities. Go Cats!”
