Washington, D.C. - In December, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced that Montana will receive more than $233 million in Fiscal Year 2026 through the Rural Health Transformation Program. This funding is part of the landmark “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which Congressman Zinke supported and was signed into law in July. It represents the largest federal investment in rural health care in U.S. history. Montana secured the fourth-largest allocation of any state.

Ted, who is beginning his 83rd trip around the sun this year, is the great-grandson of President Theodore Roosevelt and the keeper of the family’s conservation mantle. Ted punched his tag just as the sun set behind the Crazies, harvesting a beautiful bull.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Western Montana Congressman Ryan Zinke announced his co-sponsorship of Congressman Ralph Norman’s (SC-05) constitutional amendment that would prohibit Members of Congress from receiving pay during a government shutdown, with no back pay. Today, Western Montana Congressman Ryan Zinke and Congressman Riley M. Moore (WV-02) applauded the Trump Administration’s decision to secure the future of America’s national parks through a new fee structure that ensures international visitors are paying their fair share to keep our national heritage beautiful. The recent policy, issued by Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, establishes an Annual Pass that will cost $80 for U.S. residents and $250 for nonresidents and will apply an additional $100 surcharge per foreign visitor to enter 11 of the most visited national parks while keeping the entrance fee for Americans the same.

Republican Congressman Ryan Zinke introduced a bill to continue federal funding for wildlife crossings on Tuesday.
The Wildlife Road Crossings Program Reauthorization Act would extend the work of a pilot program from 2021, making federal funding for crossing projects more permanent.
