(WASHINGTON, DC) Today the office of Congressman-elect Ryan Zinke released Zinke’s official portrait available for public and media use (below and attached). He will be sworn in as a Member of the House of Representatives on January 3, 2023. Committee assignments will be made in mid-January.
Ryan Zinke was elected on November 7th to represent Montana’s First Congressional District (MT-01). Ryan Zinke has dedicated his life and career in service of Montana. Prior to serving as western Montana’s Congressman, Zinke served as U.S. Secretary of the Interior (2017-2019), Montana’s at-large Member of Congress (2015-2017), Montana State Senator (2009-2013) and 23 years as a U.S. Navy SEAL officer (1985-2008). Ryan and his wife Lola have three adult children and two granddaughters. A fifth generation and lifelong Montanan, Zinke lives in his boyhood hometown, Whitefish, on the same property his grandparents bought in the 1950s.
