University of Montana defended program funded by known CCP influencing operation
The University of Montana (UMT) is taking heat from Republican lawmakers in the state after defending a program that allows groups tied to the Chinese Communist Party to host and pay for student trips to China.
UMT is offering a controversial study abroad program in China, referred to as the "CUSEF cultural exchange," that has raised national security concerns from state lawmakers who say the groups that fund the trips are "an organ of the CCP’s approach to influence operations."
Rep. Ryan Zinke, R-Mont., told Newsmax Monday that Congress is going to flex the “power of the purse” to demand substantive changes in border security.
“Ukraine is a war that most Americans see on a TV, and it's atrocious,” Zinke said during an appearance on Newsmax’s “National Report.” “But the border? We see it every day. We see it in New York; we see it in Billings, Montana. We see it everywhere.”
We need legislators like Rep. Ryan Zinke to protect our country from a terrorist-supporting group of people like the Palestinians. They are the ones who voted for Hamas to run their country. They are the ones who protect and supply the recruits that make up this terrorist organization.
And you want to call Zinke (a military veteran) a racist for denying them entry to this great nation. Zinke deserves our respect and praise for his stand on this subject and not the disrespectful rhetoric put out by the haters.
