I write this letter to thank Congressman Ryan Zinke in his efforts to help local law enforcement in the continued fight against fentanyl and other dangerous narcotics flooding our communities.
He recently came to Mineral County to meet with my team and I directly to see what we deal with on the front lines in the war on drugs.
Congressman Zinke also has taken a great interest in in our community mental health crisis and is working hard to help develop solutions to tackle this issue that are both compassionate and effective.

During a press conference in Glacier National Park, Zinke doubled down on requests for immediate action to divert Hungry Horse Reservoir flows to Flathead Lake, a position at odds with federal operating procedures.
The debt ceiling bill, championed and passed thanks in part to Rep. Ryan Zinke, is a small step toward finding a sustainable and effective trajectory for healthy economic growth. Both parties have for too long willfully created inflation through the false belief that as long as they have a printing press, they can create wealth. Spending must be cut, and even raising the debt ceiling contributes to the illusion of wealth year after year. But doing so under this plan is at least an effort to cut crippling, unnecessary spending.
