Public lands are our birthright. A conservation legacy passed down from generation to generation. We hunt, fish, hike, fall in love, and heal on our lands and waters. We use them to make a living or escape from the grind. That’s not just in Montana — it’s for everyone.
A provision allowing the sale of some 450,000 acres of public lands in Utah and Nevada was removed from President Trump’s "big, beautiful" tax package late Wednesday — and Montana Rep. Ryan Zinke led the effort.
Rep. Ryan Zinke has been in constant communication with Missoula Emergency Services since the Department of Veterans Affairs rule “Changes in Rates VA Pays for Special Modes of Transportation” came out in February 2023.
As a kid I spent more time outdoors than in. I swear there isn’t an inch of the Whitefish and Flathead Rivers I didn’t row, a trail in Jewel Basin I didn’t hike, and a campground in Glacier I didn’t overnight. But today, it’s becoming more difficult to find a spot to camp, hike, fish or hunt – and that’s a problem.
I would Like to thank Congressman Zinke for his continued strong support to secure our borders. It only takes a couple of conversations around the community to hear about how the Southern and Northern borders being wide open is a threat to our country.
I saw a headline last year about Zinke leading the efforts to impeach Secretary Mayorkas and hold President Biden accountable for the drugs and crime that have come into the country.

Rep. Ryan Zinke, R-Mont., told Newsmax on Monday that Republicans have “evidence” that appears to show a “bribery streak” on the part of President Joe Biden.
“All roads lead to Rome,” Zinke said on “Newsline” when asked about Biden’s alleged connections to his son’s businesses.
“You’ve heard the saying,” he added, “and all roads lead to Biden.”
