Public Lands

Public lands are our birthright. A conservation legacy passed down from generation to generation. We hunt, fish, hike, fall in love, and heal on our lands and waters. We use them to make a living or escape from the grind. That’s not just in Montana — it’s for everyone.

Rep. Ryan Zinke visited the Noxon Bridge on Tuesday, saying afterward that the project is his number one priority. "The bridge is 100 years old and it has holes the size of trash can lids," Zinke told The Ledger, saying that he was surprised and concerned at the amount of deterioration that has occurred since his last visit in October. "The bridge isn't going to last six years."

Across the country, care for veterans is an afterthought. This is especially true in rural states like Montana where veterans may live hundreds of miles away from the nearest Veterans Affairs location. Oftentimes, veterans face long wait times and frequently rescheduled appointments. This is unacceptable care for the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms!

As a kid I spent more time outdoors than in. I swear there isn’t an inch of the Whitefish and Flathead Rivers I didn’t row, a trail in Jewel Basin I didn’t hike, and a campground in Glacier I didn’t overnight. But today, it’s becoming more difficult to find a spot to camp, hike, fish or hunt – and that’s a problem.

I would Like to thank Congressman Zinke for his continued strong support to secure our borders. It only takes a couple of conversations around the community to hear about how the Southern and Northern borders being wide open is a threat to our country.

I saw a headline last year about Zinke leading the efforts to impeach Secretary Mayorkas and hold President Biden accountable for the drugs and crime that have come into the country.

Rep. Ryan Zinke, R-Mont., told Newsmax on Monday that Republicans have “evidence” that appears to show a “bribery streak” on the part of President Joe Biden.

“All roads lead to Rome,” Zinke said on “Newsline” when asked about Biden’s alleged connections to his son’s businesses.

“You’ve heard the saying,” he added, “and all roads lead to Biden.”
